Rose was the first track which we worked on as a band, and is the best synthesis of the new Flamingo: an alternation of meditative moments, in which we try to display all our vulnerability and give emphasis to the storytelling, and heavy, distorted choruses, as a sort of outburst of the emotional statuses described in the song.
Rose revisits the memory of an encounter with a special person, who, even if only for one day, made me feel alive in a city populated by zombies.
lyrics
Rose in my head
You start to bloom
Warmth that spreads
And feels alive again
And feels alive again
And feels alive again
And feels alive again
I’ve been shutting down
The memories of my flesh
I have scrutinized
The howls and the tears
And now I find myself here
Embracing your existence
In the form of a blurry smile
Lit by neon
You disappear
Lit by my fear
You offer me your tears
You offer me your tears
You offer me your tears
You offer me your tears
I’ve been shutting down
The memories of my flesh
I have scrutinized
The howls and the tears
And now I find myself here
Embracing your existence
In the form of a blurry smile
I’ve been shutting down
The memories of my flesh
I have scrutinized
The howls and the tears
And now I find myself here
Embracing your existence
In the form of a blurry smile
I’ve been shutting down
The memories of my flesh
I have scrutinized
The howls and the tears
And now I find myself here
Embracing your existence
In the form of a blurry smile
In the form of a blurry smile
In the form of a blurry smile
